DETAILS ABOUT ORDERING YOUR PIECE

CUSTOMIZATIONS

I want to make you something that truly honors you and your loved one(s) journey. Most of the pieces you see on the site can be made with Milk, Ash, Dried Umbilical Cord, Dried Placenta or a Pregnancy Test Cap (these are your Inclusions). If you would like to change the Inclusion in the jewelry piece pictured to something else, please email me BEFORE ordering so I can make sure this can be accommodated. Contact me by email, at NurturingNestDoula@gmail.com. Be sure to include your name, the piece you would like, and specify the customizations you envision. Do keep in mind that no pieces will look exactly alike. They are hand made, customized for each person, and everyone’s inclusions can vary in color.

I am open to special requests of different settings and even metals such as solid gold or silver. If you want to request a different type of metal or setting that you don’t see available, message me BEFORE ordering and we can work together to create what you envision. I do not keep expensive metals on hand, so the price will change depending on your request.

LOCAL DROP OFF / PICK UP

I am primarily selling locally! I am located in the Portland Oregon metro area. If you would like to do local drop-off and pick-up, select this when you check out. You will recieve an email with instructions on how to pack up your inclusions (Breast Milk , Ashes, Dried Placenta, Hair), and we will get in touch to arrange a meeting time and location. You can expect the drop off / pick up locations to be in SE or SW Portland. There is no charge for local drop off / pick up. Keep in mind that the turn around time is 6-10 weeks after receiving your inclusions.

SHIPPING

If you choose to ship your inclusions, you will receive an email with the mailing address and instructions within 24 hours of placing your order. You are responsible for the costs to get them to me. I recommend you get tracking on your package, as I will not be responsible for any lost or damaged inclusions. Once your piece is done, there is no charge if you would like to pick up locally. If you need your finished piece shipped to you, there will be a $5.00 flat rate fee when you check out with the shipping option. Keep in mind that the turn around time is 6-10 weeks after receiving your inclusions.

HOW TO DELIVER / SHIP YOUR INCLUSIONS

MILK: Please provide one ounce of milk, double bagged in two breastmilk storage bags, and then placed in a ziploc bag. We don’t want to loose any of your precious Milk, hence all the bags! Label the bags with your full name and the date of your order. If shipping, mail this in a bubble mailer, which can often be found at a Dollar Tree.

ASHES: Please provide about a teaspoon of ashes in either a small container with a screw top lid, or double bagged in two small ziploc bags. Label your bags with your full name and date of order. I will always send back any unused ash with your finished piece. If shipping, mail this in a bubble mailer, which can often be found at a Dollar Tree.

DRIED PLACENTA OR UMBILICAL CORD: Please provide two capsules, or about a teaspoon of dried placenta double bagged in two ziploc bags. Label your bags with your full name and date of order. If shipping, mail this in a bubble mailer, which can often be found at a Dollar Tree.

PREGNANCY TEST CAP: Please Place in a small plastic bag with your name and date or order. If shipping, mail this in a bubble mailer, which can often be found at a Dollar Tree.

HAIR: For any pieces with hair inclusions requested, please provide a small, but long (at least 1.5”) pinch of hair. This pinch of hair should be in one neat clump, carefully folded in tin foil and placed in a ziploc bag. I cannot straighten hair that arrives kinked and tangled!
